Best Campaign Day Ever - January 17

Hello everyone! As many of you may (or may not) know, today was the Best Campaign Day Ever. Not only did each of the candidates for SGA President give speeches, American Idol reviewed mine!

...but before we get to the Idol top five list, you have GOT to check out what my girl VTing drew up for the LEE campaign! Napoleon Dynamite fans -- eat your heart out! (copyright Vanessa Ting, 2007)

This brings us to the LIST for tonight. It's all about the speeches...and...American Idol. I only wish that Brandi and The Hoff (David Hasslehoff) were there today. Not only would they have loved some pizza, I could have shown off my juggling skills AND won a million dollars (America DOES have talent)!

Here they are, the top five American Idol quotes after today’s event (if you missed the big speech, hopefully these reviews are helpful):

5) “Riveting” - Taylor Hicks

4) “A Cow and a Calf? You really do work in a Barn.” - Simon Cowell

3) “You’re my girl, J-Dawg! You’re my girrrrl.” - Randy Jackson

2) “That was the most beautiful speech in the world. If I weren’t dating the kid from last season, I would give you a big hug. Seroiusly, your speech brought tears to my eyes. You remind me of myself. You hit every note with precision.” - Paula Abdoul

1) “I liked it better than CATS!” - Kelly Clarkson

That's all I've got for tonight. Blog with ya tomorrow.

If I could cast 100 votes, I would use 73 of them on Jenny...the rest I would keep, in case I needed them sometime in the future. In the words of Tenacious D, the greatest rock band in the world, "No more rich people and poor people, uh...wait, I gotta think about that one." I couldn't have said it better myself.

Noticably absent from this blog is the weekly plea for help finding a lost power cord??? Let's go people!!! I know your out there, waiting to either lose your cord, or ask help finding it. I may just lose mine to get that ball rolling.
