Best Campaign Day Ever - January 23

10...9...8... Calling DICK CLARK! This rockin' SGA eve needs some serious spicing up! The Countdown clock is at ...T minus...mere hours or minutes (or it is already tomorrow afternoon, depending on when you are reading this).

Today has been another fun-filled, sugar-coated day! With buttons and candy filling the fishbowl, studying taking a slight seat on the back-burner, and lots of handshaking and networking, I think I can safely declare that today is The Best Campaign Day EVER! In fact, I think this Campaign Day cannot be beat. Full of excitement and nerves, I have a sneaking suspicion that this may just be the Last Campaign Day Ever. I don't know what I'm going to do at 11:45 p.m. every night now. Maybe homework? Or The Daily Show. Yes, The Daily Show! Or, you may be in luck, and I may continue recounting the Best Campaign Day Ever FOREVER, campaign or no campaign!

So put those hands together, folks, and give a big cheer to the last top 5 list of The Best Campaign Day ever! Here we go...

5) After a full-blown button party this morning at 3 a.m., Cohort 2 was representing in their stylish Jenny Lee Buttons in the fishbowl and in the classroom. For a sample of Cohort 2 representation, please see below:
Pictured clockwise from bottom left, are: Vting, Jake, BB, Ward, and Mr. Newman.
(Note: Soundtracks from the 3 a.m. button party can be ordered directly through me. Though, I must warn you, the disc only has one song on it -- the Pussycat Dolls' smash hit "Buttons." Gill and Chief, below, encourage you to pre-purchase th soundtrack.)
4) Masterful Campaign Manager Meagan and I also spent the wee hours of the morning labeling candy and stuffing them in mailboxes.
3) We were able to stay up during the wee hours by giving ourselves little jolts of sugar in the form of the candy we didn't pass out today...

2) Mr. Sen Sharma has masterfully created yet another wonderful LineRider.org image for the voting public. Keep your eyes on this guy...I think he will start showing his work in a local gallery (or classroom) near you soon.
1) If I had an Almond Joy for every time an awesome supporter asked if there were exit polls out yet, I'd have at least 20 Almond Joys. That's a lot of coconut (and support!). It's a good thing that sometimes you feel like a nut...Almond Joy's have nuts; Mounds don't.

Whew. After all that, it really does appear that there can be no Campaign Day that beats today, the absolute Best Campaign Day Ever!

I'm signing off for tonight, but hopefully not forever...
