This morning, my campaign manager called me to tell me that my campaign trail RV was gassed up and waiting. I immediately packed my bags and was ready to hit the road.
So that leaves us with the list for today. The top five learnings from today’s Best Campaign Day Ever:
5) A suitcase and two backpacks aren’t necessary to campaign on campus.
4) Neither is a gassed up RV.
3) McDonald’s tastes great even when you aren’t on an actual road trip. Maybe I can expense this with my campaign manager.
2) Campaigning on the Sunday before Martin Luther King’s Birthday (observed) is fun, but maybe not that effective. Where were you guys, anyway? The ol’ Barn was EMPTY!
1) Best Campaign Day Ever is yet another good acronym to put in the books (children’s books, that is): BCDE. Too bad its not “A Best Campaign Day Ever For Georgetown Hoyas. I, Jenny ‘Killer’ Lee, May Now Own (a) Pretty Quick RV, Stuck There Under Vicious Washington’s Xtreme Young Zealots”. Whew. Now that’s what I call an ACRONYM!
