Best Campaign Day Ever - January 15

Guess what today is?! Yep, you got it – The Best Campaign Day Ever!

Seriously, today really is the Best Campaign Day Ever. We had no classes, and I got to eat lots and lots of cookies (all in the name of my campaign, of course). That’s right…I’m testing recipes to bring to each and every one of you. Scrumptious!

Since the Golden Globes are on, I won't hold you any longer (my arms are getting tired anyway). So, let's quickly get started on the top five reasons why today really was the Best Campaign Day Ever.

5) Any day full of cookies is a great day (campaign-related or not)!

4) I got to chat with some awesome MSB alums at the 3M reception. It's a shame they can’t vote. Hmm...something to think about. Can you imagine -- the year 2010, and you get an e-mail about how you can decide the fate of three cohort reps running for SGA pres. Haa, that will be the day.

3) Took the RV to get it washed. And sold. (Is this not funny to you? Read yesterday's blog. It still may not be funny, but at least it will make a little more sense).

2) I showed Jamie Dunchick (Cohort 1) and Judith Vanderhorst (Cohort 2) my blog. They were psyched I didn't use the cheesy (but rhymy) "Vote for Mee, Jenny Lee" on the site.

1) I practiced my speech today. My audience was great. The ladder asked me a tough question, but I think I nailed it.

That's all I've got for this MLK holiday. Hope you enjoyed the photos in the Car Barn. There will be more of them to come...as well as prizes for frequent blog visitors! The prizes aren't just Bic pens or empty CD cases, either...keep a close eye on this url, and maybe you will be a winner!
