Best Campaign Day Ever - January 19

Hello my fellow blog-ians,

I hope you are enjoying your beautiful day! After an exciting day full of prospective students, current students, and MarkStrat, I think I can safely declare that today was the Best Campaign Day Ever! So here we are...the top five list from this campaign-filled day:

5) Kenny Moore, David Krieger, and I threw Cohort 4 some Jenny Lee Campaign Love. As you can see, Kenny had a special Cohort 4 shake that was just too fast for the camera. If only blogspot did video. Then we'd ALL be in trouble!

4) Found out Sophie Bambuck has a blog, too! It's not campaign-related, but still very fun! You should get one, too! Everyone's doing it! Check out Sophie's comment on the Best Campaign Day Ever blog from January 18.

3) Spoke with tons of great prospective students about SGA and Georgetown at the Women in Business recruiting event on campus. I remember attending that event myself last year, how great the SGA table was, and how impressed I was with everyone that participated! Memories, light the corners of my mind ... misty water-colored memories ... of the event last year. (I was just singing out loud... too bad blogspot doesn't have sound either.)

2) Grabbed coffee at Saxby's with Ashley Breed (Cohort 4) to talk about the VP of Student Services position. We talked ATMs, stamp machines, new student orientation, and other fun student services topics. Okay, so we also talked about what we are going to wear at the Texas party tonight. Give us a break, it's been a long week!

1) My awesome sister e-mailed me about my blog (she finally read it) and gave me the best definition for FUNCATION ever:
Funcation noun -- (1) the act or process of producing funk ("Paradoxiacally, Hip Hop's roots go back to the funcation of gospel church music"); (2) the assumption of a funky form or smell ("Man, did you burn something while you were cooking? The kitchen's been going through some heavy funcation!")

On that funky note, I am off to dinner and the Texas party. Hope to see you there!
