Best Campaign Day Ever - January 16

It's PRIZE TIME! The first two people to e-mail me (JHL67@georgetown.edu) with the name of my new endorser will win a small (but awesome) prize!! The prize will be in your mailbox tomorrow.

Now...on to the good stuff...

I have to give two HUGE shout-outs today for making today the...you guessed it...Best Campaign Day Ever! First, to Dean Daly for taking time out of his busy day to chat with me about my run for presidency and the future of the MSB. Second, to Anne Jones for a great one-on-one conversation about improving communications across all areas at the MSB.

Tonight's top five list from this wonderful day. Ahhh...

5) Dean Daly use to work in Iowa, and thus appreciated my COW’D and CALF ideas.

4) I realized during Macro that today was, in fact, Tuesday...and not Monday! Hooray for holidays (and Macro?).

3) In addition to meeting with Anne Jones, I also met with her Door, who gave me a wonderful enDOORsement for my campaign. (Thank you, Door. I won't forget you.)

2) Dean Daly and I looked fabulous during our meeting today in our suits (so did his Chief of Staff Jeff Frankey, below). I wonder if they were interviewing with 3M or JP Morgan??!

1) It was great to see eye-to-eye on so many topics with Dean Daly...despite the fact that I am nearly a foot shorter than him, I share his vision and look forward to working with him more in the future.

Alrighty, that's the list for tonight, folks! Don't forget to e-mail me the trivia answer (JHL67@georgetown.edu) for your fun prize!

I like Jenny Lee. These are my reasons:

1) You kicked my cat.
2) You stole my boyfiend.
3) You insulted my mother.

Wait... that's not right... Let's give it another try:

1) She gives away fun prizes!
2) She makes a concerted effort to work with the administration to improve the MSB.
3) She's short, so we get to feel superior to her in at least one way.
4) She's been tirelessly campaigning via RV to make her candidacy known.
5) She's an awesome example of someone intelligently and aggressively pursing an internship.
6) She's tech-savvy (fearlessly using Gtalk and blogs).
7) She's friggin' hilarious.
8) She's an optimist; every new day is the best one yet.
9) She's damned creative.
10) She's serious about becoming our next SGA President, and will work her ass off to attack problems and improve our school and our experience here.

Vote for her, Jenny Lee! (Okay, so that doesn't exactly rhyme, but it's still pretty catchy, and an overall good idea.)
